Nanofiber (pure carbon)
These analog interconnects are made of very thin, long carbon
fibers (nano-fibers) - including the connector shells, RCA center pin
and XLR pins. There is
absolutely no metal of any kind in the signal carrying part of
these cables: the conductive fibers directly transform into the
center pins of the proprietary STEALTH RCA or XLR connectors at
the ends of these cables, making the signal path free of any
kind of joints, solder or crimp, which results in unsurpassed
purity of sound.
The Nanofiber (pure carbon) cables offer exceptional midrange
(we feel the best of all STEALTH cables), excellent speed, very good midbass and deep bass performance, but
- while offering excellent overall presentation - they are sweet
sounding, very musical, but they do NOT have the ultimate treble extension to qualify for the
overall reference
level (few cables do). In our opinion, these pure carbon cables are
the best choice for pleasure listening (home
two channel systems and the highest quality home theatre systems) because they offer the least
"listening fatigue" of all cables we have ever
tested (our own and other brands) and great speech legibility. However, we do not
recommend Nanofiber for critical listening, studio monitoring and mastering since
these cables can indeed make imperfect recordings sound more
pleasant, and smooth out some imperfections of the equipment.
